Our community
Rendelsham is a small, close-knit rural community in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia. While the town has no shop facilities, it is serviced by a regular mail route, and the Adelaide to Mt Gambier bus will stop by arrangement. Local life is enriched by several active community groups, including a cricket club, Country Fire Service (CFS), a craft group and the Sport and Progress Association.
Just 12 kilometres away, Southend is a bigger coastal town. It has a general store, a licensed club, CFS, Progress Association, caravan and bush camping sites, commercial rock lobster fishing, and a National Park office. Millicent, only 10 minutes from Rendelsham, offers a full range of essential services, while Mt Gambier, about 45 minutes away, is the main regional centre. Adelaide is about a four-hour drive.
Our school is important to the Rendelsham community. It is in a peaceful rural setting and provides a friendly, caring environment where students feel safe, connected, and valued. We promote good behaviour, respect, and responsibility among students to help everyone feel welcome and supported.
