Curriculum
Our goal is to provide a well-rounded curriculum focused on quality teaching and learning. Our staff participate in professional development to stay up-to-date with current teaching methods and learning theories. This helps them deliver engaging lessons that connect to real-life situations.
We place a strong emphasis on Literacy and Numeracy throughout the school. In the early years, ‘Jolly Phonics’ and ‘Jolly Grammar’ form the foundation for teaching English.
ICT (information and communication technology) is integrated into classroom activities and used across all subjects. Classes are often structured with students from two or more year levels, which requires teachers to be flexible and creative in planning. Teachers work to meet each child’s individual learning needs and styles.

Subject Offerings
We offer subjects that align with the Australian curriculum, covering all key learning areas.
Support for students
Students with learning difficulties receive support from our Student Support Officer (SSO). Individual Learning Plans are created for students with specific needs to help them succeed.
Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum
The Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum (KS:CPC) is required for all children and young people in our school. It’s taught each year by teachers who have completed a full-day KS:CPC training course.
It teaches children to:
- recognise abuse and tell a trusted adult about it
- understand what touching is appropriate and inappropriate
- understand ways of keeping themselves safe.
